SAE Atlanta will be hosting the CEO of Porsche North America

  • GTRI Conference Center 250 14th Street Northwest Atlanta, GA, 30318 United States (map)

SAE Atlanta has secured the CEO and President and Chief Executive of Porsche North America, Klaus Zellmer, to speak at our spring event. Due to an overwhelming turnout of students at our fall event, we have outgrown space to host such a high caliber speaker. This event will be held at GTRI Conference Center.

Learn about Porsche’s vision for the future and how it is blending modern technology while maintaining the driving experience. Zellmer leads operations for the new $100 million Porsche Experience Center and North American headquarters in Atlanta, which opened in May 2015. This 27.7-acre complex includes corporate offices for all U.S.-based Porsche entities, a 1.6-mile driver development track, a technical training center and fine dining restaurant. A second Porsche Experience Center is opened in Los Angeles in 2016.

We will also have representatives from Panoz RacingKiaTesla and Aerospace available for students to speak with about how to prepare for a field in the rapidly changing transportation industry.

Also at this event, meet Rossella Manfrinato race car driver, team manager and engineer at Philip Creighton Motorsport, Ltd. Rossella Manfrinato, Team Manager / Engineer, was born and raised in Italy where she developed her passion for racing. She has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Milan (Polytechnic), Italy, specializing in Vehicle Dynamic and wrote “Identification of damping and stiffness parameters of a motor racing car.”
